The Ready for Resilience Program is a three-month, non-diagnostic skill-building program for children aged 5-6 who are already enrolled in school. It meets weekly for 50-60 minutes, costing $200 per month ($600 total). The program is designed for children to receive support without a formal diagnosis and is not billed to insurance. Children are grouped with peers of similar age, and consistent attendance is crucial as each lesson builds on the previous one. The program is supervised by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and facilitated by Resilience Network staff.

The program was developed for children who are experiencing difficulty with any of the following:

  • Temper tantrums (using behavior instead of words)

  • Self-regulation

  • Being told No

  • When things do not go as anticipated

  • Persisting when tasks become more difficult (quit easily)

  • Problem solving independently

  • Struggle with transitions

After each session, each child will bring home a worksheet for parents to let them know what was worked on that session and how parents can enhance learning throughout the week until the next session. It is important to attend all sessions as skills are built upon each week.
