Crash Courses
The Resilience Network is excited to offer several unique crash courses designed to support and strengthen individuals experiencing different life circumstances. These courses are a great opportunity to gain hands on and practical experience within a short window of time.
Device Management
Hands on and practical! Participants will explore their relationship with the technology they use as well as how it impacts them. They will learn and practice skills that support not only their ability to use technology appropriately but also transition off screens to other interests.
Ages 9-12, starting 7/24
Mom's Group
This six week course has been designed to offer training in a variety of hands on tools and techniques that aim to build confidence when it comes to dealing with child behaviors, increase self-awareness of how you approach mothering, as well as strengthen parent child relationships. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in practical trainings, learn up to date research on child development, and gain supportive relationships with other moms.
ADHD Life Skills
Participants will engage in a variety of activities designed to increase their knowledge of what ADHD is, how it effects their daily life, and how to face, navigate, and overcome their unique challenges.
Ages: 10-13, Starting 8/31
Back to School Anxiety
Participants in the back to school anxiety crash course will learn how to identify their anxiety, understand how it affects them, and gather practical strategies to manage it. The class will be interactive, engaging, and individualized in order to provide participants with the opportunity to learn and grow in the way that is the most appropriate for them.
Age: 8-11, starting 7/26
Kindergarten Group
Everything your child needs to know about life, they will learn in kindergarten! This course prepares your child with the right skills, routines, and structures to ensure that their first time in class will be a success. They will practice taking turns, following rules, respecting boundaries, waiting or asking correctly, as well as many of the daily rhythms that make kindergarten fun.
